Hyundau i10 Lease Review - Larger than the pocket-sized Fiats but certainly smaller than many saloons, the Hyundai i10 is a perfect size for city driving. Making it more appealing is that it is quite comfortable inside.  Just don’t expect it to be the most beautiful car you’ll ever find. It’s designed for practicality, not beauty.

You can choose from two engines – a 1.0 litre and a 1.2 litre version. The fuel economy is quite nice, with the 1 litre Blue Drive version of the engine delivering as much as 65 miles per gallon. To gain that, though, you lose air conditioning. The 1.2 litre is a four cylinder engine and it offers 57 miles per gallon on the manual transmission.  Shifting to the convenience of an automatic transmission drops the fuel efficiency up to 12 miles per gallon, however.

The interior is surprisingly roomy given the overall size of the vehicle, able to fit five adults so long as no one wants a lot of personal space. The boot holds as much as 252 litres of stuff. Some have commented that the plastics inside are hard and the driver’s seat can be hard to adjust.

For safety, the back seat comes with three seat belts as standard equipment. It has nice visibility out the windows as well as a soft touch to the steering making it easy to zoom around town.

The Hyundai i10 is a city car that has gained a lot of interest and sales from a relatively modest launch to the UK. It is not just an average mid-market car that wants to be known as "good value for money", it wants to lead the market and become a mainstream name. With a smart external shape, enough power to keep drivers happy and a nice interior it's in with a real shot of taking that top of market position Hyundai are seeking.
